I’m glad my day was quite uneventful.
My day has been rather uneventful but others have had a much worse day. We didn’t get that much snow here but further south it seems to have been chaotic. Over 100 cars and lorries crashed on a bridge, 3 died and 18 was taken to hospitals. One person was trying to help others when a lorry came in high speed, the trailer hit one person. There were several other car crashes today too but none as bad as this one.
A 22-year-old woman working as a cleaner on commuters stole one of them last night. How she even could do that is a mystery, she drove it at maximum speed and suddenly it derailed and went straight in to an appartement building. Luckily those living in the appartement she hit with the commuter survived without any injuries, the woman in the train however did get hurt.
It’s not that bad having a rather uneventful day when reading about things like this. I’m glad I did all shopping yesterday instead of today, even if we didn’t get that much snow the roads still were a bit bad. Even if I drive carefully it doesn’t mean others will.
I put up a blanket by the opening in the dog house to the dog yard yesterday and to my surprise it still was there when I came home this afternoon?! Could it be that they finally understands that it’s nicer to keep the heat in the dog house? Nah, don’t think so 🙂 Doris the Doe and her daughter is eating in my garden, my dogs and cats are sleeping in my cottage and I’m about to make something to eat. There’s a fire burning in the stove and all is well here in the village at the outskirts of the world.
Have a great day!
