I really need to start writing down things.
I really need to write down things I think of writing about here because I never remember what it was when I sit in front of my computer 🙂 It didn’t star to snow until just minutes ago, they had predicted it to start already yesterday afternoon but it rained instead. But temperatures are dropping so this is better than ice rain anyway.
I read that they managed to save the kidnapped little boy yesterday 🙂 I do wonder what the maniac that kidnapped him was thinking? We’ll never know his motive since he’s dead and perhaps that’s just as good. I understand that the boy is well and nothing bad has happened to him, besides being kidnapped of course.
The biggest news in our papers today however is that the Royal House showed support to the GLBT movement yesterday evening. The Crown Princess showed up on the Gay Gala and presented the price for the homosexual of the year. I think this is the first time in the world a royal house showed support to that group of people and I think it’s the first time any royal in any royal hose ever said homosexual in public 🙂 🙂 🙂 They will show the gala on tv on Saturday night and it’s usually quite good, they usually get the best artists in the country and in contrast to the Humor Gala it’s very fun 🙂
No, still can’t remember what it was I wanted to write about 🙂 So I’ll stop here by telling that the fire is burning in the stove and that I’ll make a pot of tea and a couple of sandwiches. I doubt there’s anything worth watching on tv so I might try to find a good book, well any book will do actually 🙂

The cottage by the Crane lake part two

You and I are living similar lives: nothing much to do, snow and nowhere we want to go. I even ordered my groceries to be delivered so I don’t have to go outside into the really cold day. I have a bunch of catalogs I’ll go through and hope to find a movie on TV I can watch though I do have last night’s Continuum taped (a new syfy channel series) I can also watch.

I ordered my groceries when I had my hip surgeries, that was just perfect! I would still do it if I didn’t have to go to work every day, I pass the grocery store on my way home anyway.
Nothing new when it comes to scifi or fantasy here I’m afraid. They show Grimm on Sunday nights at 10pm and the rerun on Monday mornings at 5 am!!!

hi christer! i make notes for myself all the time. it really helps. i am thrilled that america is finally embracing gays the way they are now. it actually has become a very bad and uncool thing to speak poorly about gays here now….finally!!! joyce

Gays have it easier here, especially in the cities. Here in the country side they still are a bit behind I’m afraid and gay’s still have troubles with some groups in this country. But things changes even out here 🙂 I think that it will help a lot that the Crown Princess did this, she sort of broke down the last big barrier, most churches already accepts gay marriages and gays have the right to adopt children too since a few years back. I’m glad things are improving in the US too!

You could always call yourself and leave a voicemail about what you want to write. 🙂 Or send a text message to your computer. My phone has a voice notes feature so I can record short messages like where I parked my car in the shopping center. I’m not quite that bad yet but some days it’s really amazing how easily a bright red jeep can hide in a forest of grey cars. 😀
I love the photo of the horses and the red building. The colors are so strong and are enhanced by the sunlight. The seed heads that are fourth from the bottom are also a favorite.
I think I’m going to buy a Nikon D3100. Yes, it’s an old model but the D3200 has a lot of blingy bling that I’m never going to use and I don’t want to pay for it. Like you and town water, I guess. 🙂
Grey and cold here today. I have no reason to go out so I’m going to curl up on the couch with Rocky and knit and watch crappy TV.

I don’t like to use my phone while working, it means the telephones death if powder paint gets in to it 🙂 I can use the phone via my voice too but there’s still the problem with the powder 🙂 🙂 🙂
Most parking lots here are so small that it’s easy to find my car even if it’s so small that most other cars are so much bigger that’s it’s hard to find it 🙂
I think that the Nikon D3100 is the better buy! As You say, D3200 has so much bling bling that one really never use.
It’s snowing here now, hard icy small flakes but it seems to cover the bground effectivly I’m afraid 🙂

Thankfully a good ending for the little boy in Alabama. Another one of those mysteries we just can’t understand. We just had a big snowstorm that lasted two days, and it is quite cold. Luckily the roads were okay today so I could get out and get kitten chow and dog food, oh yeah, and some food for us too!! LOL! Bit by bit here in the US things are turning around for gays; there are still too many who are prejudiced against them though, and equal rights are fought for continuously. Our country really is messed up in many ways.

I have to admit that I didn’t believe therew would be a happy ending for that boy, I’m so glad I was wrong.
We’ve gotten 4 inches of snow during the night and more will come this night but the roads are good here too thankfully.
I think this is a rather good country for the gays but there’s still much to do to make it even better. I think younger people today just doesn’t care about if anypone is gay or not, they just accept it even out here in the countryside.

En gång när vi var i LA så åkte vi väldans tidigt till Universal Studio för att turista lite. Det var en ENORM parkeringsplats och faktiskt redan lite bilar där, kanske ett 100-tal. Det visade sig vara en riktigt kul upplevelse att gå runt på dom olika inspelningsplatserna så vi var där nästan hela dagen. 🙂
När vi sen kom ut på P-platsen så var det tusentals bilar där. Rolle blev helt chockad och undrade hur vi skulle hitta var lånade bil som var en stor Chrysler herrgårdsvagn. Alltså en biltyp som det fanns 100-tal av. Skulle vi behöva vänta tills stället stängde och alla andra hämtade sina bilar. Hjälp! 😦 😦
Men…jag har faktiskt ett jättebra lokalsinne och hade naturligtvis pejl på i vilken sektion vi hade parkerat. Så det vara bara att gå dit och sen leta runt en kort stund så hittade vi den. Det här var alltså på 70-talet så då kunde man ju inte skylla på åldern precis om man inte hittat bilen! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Sjhälv har jag noll lokalsinne 🙂 Men jag brukar kolla de olika symbolerna som finns i varje rad på parkeringem så att jag åtminstone vet det när jag behöver leta eftyer bilen 🙂
Min bil är ju så liten att den inte syns bakom de andra så det gäller att ha lite koll 🙂 Det hade varit en mardröm för mig att hitta en hyrbil på en sådan stor parkering 🙂 🙂 🙂
