About me.

Unfortunately not my glassed in porch but I wish I had one like it.

Unfortunately not my glassed in porch but I wish I had one like it.

Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, but moved to the countryside 1997. The best decision I’ve ever made.

I had worked in the Volvo Group for over twenty years when I bought myself a garden center/ nursery. It was the funniest job I’ve ever had, unfortunately I didn’t make any money 🙂 Now days I work as a painter in a small company in the middle of nowhere 🙂

I tend to have lots of dogs in my life, usually four at a time and a couple of cats of course. There’s also these two deers that comes to my garden every day to get something to eat. I feed them in hope of they leaving my plants alone, I’m not too successful I’m afraid 🙂

I live not far from a lake that is visited by 16 000 cranes every spring, the sound of the first cranes always tells me spring is close even if some always comes to early and almost freeze to death. I also live beside a huge bog, it starts just behind my garage and that’s my favorite place to walk my dogs. I always bring a camera with me on my walks and those photographs are always shown here.

Have a great day and welcome back 🙂

  1. Thankyou .. some good places for uploiading your photos are Panoramio… if they are selected they get geolocated – when anybody looks at your part of the World in Google Earth.

Another good place is Fine Art America… then they can be made into cards, prints and posters and you get paid some.

If you register for Istockphotos – they can be used in all sorts of ways and you get paid commissions/royalties.

Love your photos of birches, a beautiful tree and also love sound of the wind – vind sus genom träden

    • Hi thebluepolarbear!

I usually just delete my photographs after showing them here, it’s so close to every place I take photographs that I can walk back and take it again, in perhaps a better light too 🙂

Birches are my favorite trees and we have them everywhere here 🙂

Yes, vindsus genom träden is very nice to listen to 🙂

      Have a great day!

  2. My observations of you is that that you are a lover of animals, growing things, good food, good friends and photography, just to name a few. It’s been a delight getting to know you, Christer. Thank you for taking us on long walks, telling us spooky stories and showing us Swedish traditions… You have been one of the folks that has made blogging a pleasure.
